| Franchise Trade Show and Conference 2010 |

This year will be held the first Seminars and Business Round Guatemalan Association of Franchises (GUATEFRANQUICIAS) in the third week of April (Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 April 2010) this year at the Salon The Lakes and the square of the Westin Camino Real.
The aim of this event will promote the franchises of the countries participating in this event and the public concerned to find solutions and new business proposals.
The countries participating in this event are: U.S., Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Brazil entrepreneurs from these countries will participate as guests, presenters and promoters of franchises.
Since 2007 a group of over 20 entrepreneurs and franchisors Guatemalans join forces to found the Guatemalan Association of Franchises (AGF). The objectives of the Association are:
· Promote the creation and development of the franchise system within the Republic of Guatemala.
· Spread the concept of franchising and facilitate the exchange of information between franchisors and franchisees and are Guatemalan or foreign.
· Find new business opportunities for partners in Guatemala and abroad.
Represent a national franchising industry to private and public entities and government, always seeking to defend the interests of industry and service partners.
· Promote the professionalization of the sector through the promotion of good practices of the franchise system in Guatemala.
