To motivate and recognize the momentum of the best food and drink industry in the country, the prize is called The Golden Fork
This award seeks to recognize the work of those involved in the management of restaurants, serving the best dishes, while maintaining an innovative spirit and dedication to customer service.
The award categories include: Best Restaurant of the Year, Best Restaurant Manager of the Year, Best Chef of the Year, and a distinguished personality in the food industry.
Candidates
Anyone can nominate their candidates, provided they can justify their achievements. The delivery of this award is an initiative of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala, the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism, The Institute of Technical Training and Productivity and Rafael Landivar University, through the organizing committee for food.
