The 46 Municipal Districts, partners of the Corredor Interoceánico de Guatemala, have issued Municipal Accords, stating the following:
Authorization to participate in the structure of the Corredor Interoceánico de Guatemala; Declaration of the Corredor Interoceánico de Guatemala to be of Municipal Public Interest; Authorization and support regarding construction of infrastructures, subject to fulfillment of corresponding legal requirements; Commitment to carry out and meet the development Goals of the Millenium; Declaration of an institutional position, on the part of the 46 Municipal Districts, regarding the project.
